Traditionally, for the 14th year, from May 15 to 20, the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Art of the University of Latvia will host the International Week of Professors, which is organized by the Teacher Education Department of the LU FEPA together with its cooperation partners in schools and universities in Latvia and abroad.
This year, during the International Week of Professors, the 22nd International Student Research Conference will be held from May 16-18 and the NordPlus Horizontal Project "Pre-Service Teacher Career Perspectives to Facilitate Sustainable Inclusive Education Reforms" (PreTeCap ) working seminar at the University of Latvia and Liepāja University.
The common goal and reference point of the International Week of Professors, conference and project seminar for experienced and new researchers is to share their findings and get acquainted with the experience of other participants in researching various topical issues.
229 participants have applied for the events of this year's international week. It will be possible to hear 101 performances from 10 countries - the United Kingdom, the United States, Austria, the Czech Republic, the Philippines, India, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland, and Turkey, both in person and on the Zoom platform. As well as listeners from Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden have expressed their interest in the events.
This year, a significant contribution to the events of the international week will come from four cooperation universities of Latvia and India: Chitkara College of Education, Chitkara University, in Punjab; Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat; Savitribai Pule University of Pune, Pune and Shivaji University Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
